When you put a light inside lampshades made of  wool, it is very beautiful. The radiated light is charming, calming and pleasant to watch in the dark winter nights.

You will be learning to felt a shell form which you can decorate. You will learn to put an electric light inside which will be available to you in the workshop. Lighten your home with wool light.

Anna Gunnarsdottir is a Textile Artist residing in Akureyri, Iceland where she has her working studio and gallery.

Focusing on the traditional felt making technique, Anna combines it with a contemporary, fresh approach. She has developed her own unique way of felting, where her signature has a strong sense of Scandinavian and minimal art. Anna´s work is based on the idea of light and shadow, creating large sculptures and 3D wall pieces for both indoor and outdoor use.

Anna has gained international recognition for her sculptural work. She has exhibited in various countries, including Australia, USA, Germany Sweden and France.
