In this masterclass, you will produce complex geometric shapes, such as the twisting architectural felt forms that Charlotte is known for.

You will be able to observe, close up, samples of Charlotte’s work, and she will share with you her innovative approach to the art of felt-making, and the secrets of how she creates her stunningly intricate three-dimensional surfaces and geometric shapes. She will work one-to-one with each student to understand what they wish to achieve, and will introduce a wide variety of surface techniques, supporting you as you go on to explore how to apply these techniques to wearable or decorative items.

Each of Charlotte’s classes brings a wealth of new techniques to our feltmaker students, coupled with her rare gift for focusing on each student’s particular area of interest, enabling them to realise their design ideas.

This class is aimed at the more-experienced felt-maker looking to expand their practice.
