On this two-day class you will learn how to make a textile woodland creature using a combination of hand and machine stitching. You will be provided with the basic pattern, calico, stuffing, eye beads, hair, fabrics, buttons, and strong thread for jointing. There will be turning tools and doll needles available for use in the class, and also for sale if required.

You are welcome to bring any fabrics or embellishments you might want to include as well as your own basic sewing kit.

This course is suitable for all, but basic needle skills are essential.

There will be a fee of £5 per person to cover materials for one creature and a few experiments.

Jennie is also teaching an advanced doll-making class at Big Cat Textiles, in September. A link will be available shortly.
