Two days of cutting and sewing summer dresses.

First we will take our individual measurements to guarantee the perfect fit.
You will draft up your dress block master and Jeanette will show you how to create the desired shape for your dress. We will discuss a range of design details, such as neck and hemlines, pockets and sleeve options. The process will sharpen your eye and will present you with a number of choices.

You can keep your dress design simple or be guided by Jeanette through a more complicated cut. You will end up with a master pattern and the skill to adapt this pattern into multiple options. You will also have a fitted dress toile. During class you will be practising on your toile all the finishing techniques needed to complete the process.

Back home you are now ready to design and make your new summer dress collection.
