The recipe for a perfectly fitting pair of trousers starts with taking your individual measurements. You will learn how to draft your fitted trouser block, which is your master pattern for any possible design adaptations. Jeanette will guide you through design options and different styles.

You will then continue with your working pattern to add details such as pockets, yokes, fullness of trouser leg and width of the hemline. Next a toile will be cut and fitted. Finishing techniques are taught such as how to insert a zip, pockets, a waistband or work facings.

By the end of the class you will have a master trouser block, a working pattern and a fitted and completed toile.

You are now equipped to start your trouser winter collection.
